今日はバレンタインデーです！！

自分がうら若き頃はバレンタインデーと言えば

女子が意中の男子にチョコを渡して告白する、と言う

けっこうドキドキなイベントの日でした。

が、今やそんな従来の意味でチョコを贈る人は

少なくなっているのでしょうね。

自分も日ごろお世話になっている方々に

「感謝の気持ち」として贈っています。

ですが、実はメインは「自分チョコ」。

バレンタインデーが近くなると百貨店などで

日頃はお目に掛かれない世界中のチョコレートが

たくさん売られます。

あちこちののメーカーで試食しながら、とっておきの

チョコを選びます。

今年は第4のチョコレートと言われている「ルビーチョコ」をGETしました。

来年はどんなチョコレートと巡り会えるのか今から楽しみです。。。

寒い日が続いていますが春は確実に近づいているようです。

２月５日から始まった三浦海岸の「桜まつり」を追いかけるように、２月１６日(土)からは「田浦梅林まつり」も始まりますが、今週末には彼岸桜と梅に負けじと冬にしては珍しい大きな花も咲くようです！
